Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) Sponsors the 24nd Annual Michigan Regional Future City Competition – Volunteer Special Award Judges Needed
This year’s Future City Competition is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. This year’s theme is “Powering Our Future”.
Why are Judges Needed and What Do They Do?
The role of the judge is to draw on their expertise and resources to fairly judge the teams’ efforts. Judges will be needed to utilize the established criteria and evaluate the school teams.
1. Models and Team Presentations: Judging involves attending the ESD Michigan Regional Future City Competition on January 29, 2019, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. The mandatory Special Award Judges Orientation Breakfast starts at 8:15 am. The actual judging is from 9 – 11 am. At that time, the school teams display their model cities and three presenting students from each team will be available to answer questions from ASQ members based off of award criteria already established by ASQ-1000 and provided to you upon arrival
