Important Notice for GDS Members

If you are facing difficulty with accumulating necessary RUs for recertification due to unemployment, military service, work transfer overseas or illness you may qualify for an extension. You must contact the National Recertification Coordinator directly before your six months grace period has ended.

Membership Meetings = .3

Employment = up to 3.6/year

Instructor = .15/hr

Student = .1/hr

Volunteer on a Committee = 1.5

ASQ Certifications = 2.0

Proctoring = .5 - 1

Publish Video/Audio =.025/15 min

Publish Other = .5-3

RECERTIFCIATION COMMITTEE

To maintain the integrity of your certification ASQ requires that you recertify every 3 years - either by journal or by testing.

Steps for Recertification

To recertify by journal:

Step 1:
Review the recertification requirements
Download the most recent application & journal
or call ASQ headquarters at 1-800-248-1946 or 414-272-8575

Step 2:
Follow instructions for each applicable section and Mail your recertification Journal and supporting information/required documentation (copies only) to:

SECTION MEMBERS ONLY!

ASQ members belonging to other sections need to mail their recertification packages to their sections or to ASQ Milwaukee. ASQ Recertification in Milwaukeee

NOTE: Submitted materials will not be returned. Make copies of documents for submission. Keep originals for at least 6 months.

Step 3:
The Re-certification packages are evaluated and approved at the section level then forwarded to the Re-certification Coordinator at ASQ headquarters in Milwaukee. You may expect your re-certification certificate within 3-5 weeks.
